SUMMARY:Learn ASL! Musical Theatre
DESCRIPTION:In this class focusing on learning ASL\, music isn’t just for listening; it’s about telling a story through facial expression and creative phrasing through sign language.  And in this 6-week virtual workshop\, it’s an opportunity for people with disabilities to start or continue nurturing their sign language skills in harmony with new friends.  Come to learn and prepare for a sign language performance of an all-group song (and optional solos/duets)! \nAll abilities and sign language proficiencies welcome. A certified interpreter from Disability Network Eastern Michigan (DNEM) will be partnering with DNWML Theatre Be Director Robin Bennett to present this workshop. \nParticipants are expected to register for ALL 6 weekly classes and an online performance on March 2 at 7pm.  Participants must live in the DNEM or DNWML service areas.  LIMITED SPACE! \nRegistration link below (see website). \nProgram Flyer:  ASL Musical Theatre flyer
