AACIL Kits and Service Learning

10 a.m.-12:50 p.m.
Join YVC and the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living (AACIL) during Spring Break in both a hands on and service learning opportunity.
We will be packaging kits for Ozone House, partaking in a dialogue on public education and legal rights for students with disabilities, and learning more about the importance of inclusion in education and how to be disability justice allies and advocates.
We will be meeting in the YMCA lobby at 10 a.m. and leaving at 10:10.
If you are interested or able to donate, please bring a new item under the “school supplies” section on the list attached to the YMCA by Friday, March 24th (you can drop off your item at the front desk with Attn: Gretchen Mason YVC).
We will have time to bond after over games and snacks!
We will return to the Y at 12:50 p.m. where participants will be dismissed.
