In order to provide greater access and to support coordination of care for behavioral health services, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) will remove the 20-visit maximum limitation for outpatient behavioral health services (psychotherapy services).  The restriction is lifted for both Fee-for-Service and Medicaid Health Plan beneficiaries effective for dates of service on or after October 1, 2017.
