Due to phone system updates at the CIL, phone extension numbers for many CIL staff members have changed. Please be aware of this when you are trying to reach a particular staff member. A complete list of updated staff extension numbers is below as well as on the staff page.
When you call the CIL main number, 734-971-0277, if a receptionist is unavailable to answer your call, you will receive the automated answering system. When you get the automated answering system, you will be provided the following options:
- Option 1: Press “0” to leave a voice mail in the general CIL voice mail box
- Option 2: Press the 3-digit extension number of the particular staff member you are trying to reach
- Option 3: If you do not know the 3-digit extension of the staff member you are trying to reach, press “1” and the answering system will read you the names of each staff member and prompt you to dial a specific number for the staff member you are trying to reach

We understand that new automated systems can sometimes provide frustration.
