The DNWML Arts Program is thrilled to announce the first of our rotating guest facilitator series: Heather Friese Banet. Join us for our accessible dance class this November and December, happening Thursday afternoons!

Each week features a unique theme designed to inspire creativity and connection:

• Week 1: Explore dancing in your comfort zone while gradually stepping out of it by learning popular dance moves and developing your own.
• Week 2: Enjoy nature-themed dances that celebrate the four seasons.
• Week 3: Create movement in response to poetry and art.
• Week 4: Engage in connection-focused activities with plenty of partner games.
• Week 5: Showcase your skills in a fun performance.

Each session includes an intro and theme sharing, group check-ins, follow-along warm-ups, technique patterns, movement exploration, and group activities. Let’s dance, connect, and express ourselves together!
