Depicting their lived experiences in a variety of media, artists exploring cycles of dormancy and snagging thorns alongside seasons of flourishing and exponential growth. Studio artists from Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston’s Arts Program, together with DNWML staff and board members, reveal their unique disability journeys through a collaborative group showcase.
Using nature-based symbolism, artists share works depicting their disability experiences.
