pARTicipatory Sensory Workshop: Disability Network + University of Michigan
The series of workshops is a collaboration between Yi-Chin Lee, a Ph.D. student at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan, and the art program in Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston.
Yi-Chin is a textile researcher investigating how knitted material can create a multi-sensory space to support diverse bodies and minds navigate built environments. The collaborative art-making workshops serve as a way for members in Disability Network to inform Yi-Chin’s design with their creative expression.
